وێبینارى یونسکۆ: زنجیرە گفتوگۆ و ڕیکەوتنەکانى خوێندنى باڵا لەسەر ئاستى جیهانیدا

ئەم وێبینارە بەشى دووەمى زنجیرە گفتوگۆ و دیدارى یونسکۆیە دەربارەى ڕێکەوتنە جیهانیەکان و توانستى بچوک (مایکرۆ کرودینشیاڵ) لە کەرتى خوێنى باڵادا. ئەم زنجیە دیدار و گفتوگۆیە لەمیانەى جێبەجێکردنى ڕیکەوتننامەى جیهانى بۆ داننان بە بڕوانامەکانى خوێندنى باڵایە. ئمانجى ئەم گفتوگۆیانە کۆکردنەوەى بڕیاڕبەدەستان و داڕێژەرانى سیاسەتى خوێندنى باڵایە بۆ تێگەشتن و باشترکردنى کوالیتى توانستى بچوک (مایکرۆ کرودینشیاڵ) لە کەرتى خوێندنى باڵا بۆ باشتر کردنى کاریگەرى و لێهاتووی فێرخوازان.

Description
This is the second round of Higher Education Conversations, now in the leadup to the entry into force of the Global Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education. This first conversation in the series aims to bring together policy makers and higher education stakeholders to advance the understanding and quality of micro-credentials in higher education in order to boost their impact and efficiency for all learners.

Key questions to be examined:
• How do micro-credentials fit into formal higher education systems?
• What are the opportunities and potential benefits of micro-credentials in universities?
• What are the primary challenges for developing relevant, useful and quality micro-credentials in higher education?
• How to assure the quality of micro-credentials, and how can they be recognized across borders?
• How can higher education institutions and employers work together on micro-credentials to ensure smoother transitions of students into the world of work?
• How can micro-credentials be utilized to promote lifelong learning?

Maki Katsuno-Hayashikawa is the Director of the Division for Education 2030 at UNESCO Headquarters. Maki has extensive experiences of over 25 years with UNESCO, UNICEF and JICA, in managing global, regional and country level programmes on inclusive education, gender and education, ECCE, learning assessment and teacher education as well as coordinating partnerships in education. Currently, she oversees UNESCO’s global programmes on Gender and Inclusive Education, Higher Education, Education in Emergencies and leads the reform of the global SDG4 coordination mechanism.

Previously, Katerina served as a Programme Specialist at UNESCO-UNEVOC Centre in Bonn, Policy Analyst at the Centre for Educational Research and Innovation (CERI) of the OECD and Researcher at the Institute for Education in London.

Chiara Finocchietti is the Director of CIMEA-NARIC Italia. A geographer by training, she comes from the world of research and is an expert in recognition and internationalisation of higher education. Author of various publications on the subject of credential evaluation, she is a member of a number of international working groups on higher education policies and practices. She has been appointed a member of the European Union Micro-credentials Higher Education Consultation Group, and she has recently been working on recognition of micro-credentials in the framework of the European Higher Education Area. She is vice-president of the ENIC Bureau.

Roger Chao Jr. is Asst. Director/Head of Education, Youth and Sports at the ASEAN Secretariat. Since 2013, he has been engaged in the international education development sector in various organizations including UNESCO, UNICEF, the European Commission, DAAD and the British Council. Roger has published in commissioned international reports, academic journals and edited volumes, and international media on regionalization and internationalization of higher education, teacher education, recognition of higher education, education and the 4th industrial revolution, and refugee education. He has a PhD on Asian and International Studies from City University of Hong Kong, a European Masters in Lifelong Learning and a Masters in Education (Mathematics).
